Stein is reporting that the Mavs want to get Dalembert from Sacramento in a S&T - no news on what the Kings would get in return, but lots of rumors about the trade exception the Mavs would get from the Knicks for Tyson Chandler. Also mention of JJ Barea.

Apparently Dallas wants to sign Dalembert to a huge one-year contract and then release him so they can go after D12. Not sure how Dalembert feels about that, even though he'd be playing for a contender.

I might do it if I was Sam - the big man crop next year (outside of Dwight) is really poor. He'd cash in like this offseason.

I wouldn't have wanted Dalembert for a contract longer than 3 years. He played a little better on the Kings this year, than in his previous seasons. But he doesn't have a great history.
