Welcome, kingraider412 (http://kingsforum.net/live/member.php?132-kingraider412). I believe you were posting on ESPN even before I was.

No.

I'd say a finish of 23rd in the league, and 14th or 13th in the conference, depending on what New Orleans and Denver's rosters will look like.

My low predictions have been right in 2 of the last 3 years. :) I won DCKingsFan (http://kingsforum.net/live/member.php?94-DCKingsFan)'s OFFICIAL offseason predictions game in 2008-2009 and 2010-2011.

The big problem is that this team doesn't have an All-Star. If Evans can play like he did his rookie year, then they do. But otherwise, these guys are very inefficient on offense.

Steve Nash, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love (with potential rookie of the year Derrick Williams), LaMarcus Aldridge without Brandon Roy, Luis Scola. These guys just do a little more. Or are better.

I expect Denver to get the type of FA I wish the Kings would have gotten. But maybe I'm wrong about that.

Golden State has an identifiable big 3 too, and if Wright has the same season again, that's a solid starting lineup.

Kings could potentially have a great starting lineup, I like the names on paper. But who knows.

What are your league rankings (in terms of where the Kings will end up)? Do you think they can crack the top twenty?

Unless the Suns trade Steve Nash for Brandon Knight, I don't think the Kings can pass the Suns and stay out of last in the division.

League rankings, conference rankings, and division rankings, all have the Kings sitting down.

I think you will see a different type of play from Evans this year. I think he Cousins and Thornton can form their own Big 3, and be very productive

I would like that very much. I just hope they shoot a lot better, and Cousins turns it over less. FG% and turnovers were huge problems for Cousins. He has the moves, and he is good, but also very bad at times too, lol.

He gets a bad rap....because everything he does gets blown WAY out of proportion..
with maturity he will be one of the best, and will be recognized

I was too. And yes I remember. I don't know if you can be a bigger backer than me. :) I compared his defense to Rasheed Wallace! And I always talk about the Indiana game when Dalembert and Cousins dominated Hansborough and Hibbert.

I had also wanted Evans too in the 2009 draft, so I was happy we picked him.

I had also wanted Thompson, surprisingly, in 2008. But he hasn't lived up to my expectations. Mostly on the defensive end. His offense is fine, but instead of being an elite defender, he's a terrible one.

David West dropped 40 on him. Mehmet Okur dropped 27. And Okur didn't do this by hitting long jumpers. Okur just used fakes and his face-up game to drive past Thompson all night long.

I don't really dwell on the incidents either. Punching teammates, getting kicked out of practice. It happens, it's a sports team. I just move on.

me and nuraman will have a contest to see who is a bigger backer of Cousins

I would have enjoyed it if they just re-branded them Ahaheim Royals Of Sacramento, and stayed in Sacramento.

We will see in a few days what Kevin Johnson has to say. Hopefully the financing is worked out.
