DeMarcus Cousins was on.
Q: What do you need to improve in?
A: Just being more consistent. Bringing it every night.
Q: Have you learned how to adjust to how the officials call fouls?
A: Sometimes the officials call bad fouls and everybody makes mistakes. I just have to deal with it.
Q: What about avoiding the cheap fouls on the perimeter?
A: Yeah that's something I can cut down on.
Q: Do you have any goals for yourself? Do you think you can average 10 boards a game?
A: I don't have any individual goals for me this year. Just team goals. I had them my rookie year, to try and play well. But now I'm just going to do whatever it takes to help the team win. As long as we're winning.
Q: How many assists a game do you think you can average?
A: <thinks about it> 6
Q: <Grant reads a text> How are you going to share the ball?
A: We have a lot of guys who can put it up. It's going to be somebody's turn every night. It's about winning, and everyone will get their turn, and they understand that. We're going to be tough to guard.
Q: How has Tyreke looked?
A: He's looked good, he's tough to guard.
Q: Can Hayes shut you down?
A: No comment. <Laughs> No, I don't think anyone can guard me. But Hayes and I go at it hard.
Q: What new addition as surprised you?
A: Salmons, he's a good player.
++++++++++++
That's all I remember right now.

Is this the official transcript from the show or are you just making up your own bullshit and skewing the questions and answers to glorify/villify Cousins?
Jk :)
Thanks.

He's right about Salmons. He's a damn good players talent wise. Too bad he has selfish habits. There is nothing that Salmons can't do well to very good. His mid range jumper is excellent, his penetration ability is excellent, he gets to the line, plays great man to man defense, can pass and make plays...but his decision making, ball hogging, and unwillingness to play a defined role that does not include him hogging the ball kills me.

I heard that too.
dribble dribble dribble pick up dribble...waits...waits...waits...gets ball back, dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, picks up dribble *passes ball to Tyreke at top of three point line with 2 on shot clock*
That's my definition of a Salmons play.
You're welcome.

Big difference is that Salmons had to play 35 mpg on the Kings. That's beyond his effectiveness.
On the Kings, he'll only average 28mpg, more in line with his capabilities. Plus Garcia will have some good nights too.

It wont be like that as often. This is arguably the most talented team he's played on, on offense.

He didn't seem to think fouling was his problem, but rather the refs "making bad calls". Luckily he got a reformatted question right after, in which he could accept some responsibility "on the cheap away from the ball fouls".

Hope you're right - just don't know if he can change. Hope he does.

The way I see it is that he had less option to pass to on those Kings teams, Philly teams, and Bucks teams.
I'm not saying his game will be pretty, but there will be less bad possessions. He'll be able to make a good decision sooner.
He did get a triple double before.

His assist %, since 2006-2007, compared to other swingmen, is ok. Not great, not terrible, 3.7% higher than Kevin Martin's.

I think this team is too deep for him to be as frustrating as before. They don't need as much from him as before, and they have other scorers.

yeah...IMO Salmons has to defer now...
He probably thought he had to be "The Man" on the last Kings squad...Bucks too
He's got guys ahead of him

Yeah, that's the way I see it. I would have wanted to see a healthy Redd and Salmons together (along with Bogut), just to see how he would have looked on a good team. But pretty much had to replace Redd's output since Redd was injured.
