Yeah, shortened offseason + very young team with quite a few new faces means they'll likely go through a lot of ups and downs. A team like this needs a full offseason, not this 2 week bullsh*t. They have talent enough to challenge for a playoff seed but I'm not seeing it this year. I would EXPECT this team to play better as the year goes on, however. If not, then well....that ain't good lol

If all goes well, Tyreke shows last year was an anomaly, Cousins asserts himself as a young star and one of the best big men in the West, Jimmer defies many and shows he can succeed in the NBA, JJ and JT live up to their big potential, Thornton and Hayes remain solid and the Kings find themselves in the playoffs.

Do I see all that happening? Yes, but not all in the same season.

yeah well he averaged 5 assists when playing with a team with no shooters on it what-so-ever. now with thornton and jimmer in the fold i think the assists can only go up. and he is 6 foot 6 so i expect him to be able to rebound the ball well. the only thing i think good take a dip is his scoring because jimmer, thornton, and cousins are gonna help balance the offense

Averaging 7.0 assists a game is hard. Evans could do it. But he'll probably finish around 6.7.

You can say that about a lot of teams IMO.

Then again, 12 people did it in 2010-2011, 9 people in 2009-2010, 11 in 2008-2009, 9 more in 2007-2008 (plus two more if you want to add Sessions in for 17 games, and Tinsley for his 39 games).

I guess Evans can get to 7 then. Especially since he has the most playmaking skills among the guards.
