They have an entire medical staff. The clinic that found out Hayes didn't have any issues did it pretty quickly. Between this and the being left at the alter by multiple average starters in free agency, the Kings aren't doing a whole lot IMO to shed the rep of a joke that they have throughout much of the league (mostly players).

I really don't mind the fact that they found what could be heart issues and dealt with them - better safe than sorry. But if you're going to void the contract, you better make sure it's 125% accurate. I know Petrie was pressed for time, but, you need to be working 24 hours a day to figure it out before you go and axe the deal.

This is great news to hear, and the reason why the Kings said FU to Dalembert. The Kings get back their legit defensive presence at PF to help Cousins out as well as a potential team leader. This also means JT/Hickson won't be starting until they prove themselves (yay!). Finally it means no ridiculously horrible scrub will be given a $8M+ deal to make the minimum cap which has been my biggest fear since this all went down.
