I'm saying 2-8 or 3-7.

Can't wait to watch Rubio abuse our 'defense'

I was hoping for 5-5. If it's 2-8. We're going to start hearing those Jerry Sloan rumors posted on sactown royalty. I would hope Smart can at least get this team playing . 500 ball. But, with no defensive philosophy and no true point.. It will be difficult.

With no practices it's just going to be learning on the fly - add in Thornton apparently being injured now (given his most recent tweet), Evans potentially a little banged up and the fact we're pretty awful on the road generally, I'm not expecting a lot.

They'll probably win one or two we don't expect and drop one or two we expect a win from - but no easy games in there with this roster.

I agree. They're not good enough, nor polished enough at running a system, to make things easy. It's still an adventure.

We will beat the Sixers. We will beat the Rockets. We will be the Grizzlies. We should beat the Spurs and Raptors. Chances are we won't. I think 3-7 is how it'll swing though with some mix.

As nura said, this is still a bad team, and missing a vital ingredient that makes a running team successful. *passing*
Actually we are missing basketball IQ as well.

From now on I'm taking 3 shots of tequila every time Jimmer takes a stupid 3 pointer from well beyond the arch. I'm guessing my bottle might be empty by the time the road trip ends.

Raptors will be frustrating because the Kings will try to outshoot the Raptors from 3-point land. And Bargnani has had big games against the Kings before. I think the Kings will become undisciplined.

Also, the Kings always stink @ Toronto, it's been like that for several years. They don't play good quality basketball.

2-8. They won't beat Memphis, they always allow 70 points in the paint against them. Even if you go back to a few years ago, they would have a game where Mike Miller would get a triple double off the bench. They never play well there.

In terms of quality of play, they put together a better effort in the occasional road SA, Denver, or HOU game once a year.

They usually play poorly at Dallas, Minnesota, and Portland. They've only had one good game at Portland, it was last year in January. Other than that, since the Artest trade, Portland they've played poorly there. Artest used to shut down Roy.

Also, Philly was a road-road split last year.

I'd say of the two wins I predicted, they will come from the places where they usually play well: Philadelphia, Houston, vs. Indiana, San Antonio, or Denver.

Here was the game last year. Evans didn't play, and Luther Head sucked. But Jermaine Taylor and Jeter played well.

I know it was only one game. Matt Bonner only had 3 points, so that's another abnormality.

One win early in the trip.

Can the Kings violate Houston and do a "Houston 500"? (That refers to a movie title in which an actress has sex with 620 men. Title: The World's Biggest Gangbang 3: The Houston 500 (1999)

Still on target to get one more win against Indiana, San Antonio, or Denver.

So I've called the Indiana and San Antonio games so far. 3 wins in this stretch. :) Looking as good as can be expected.

I don't think the Kings will beat the Nuggets (already used their quota @ SA), Grizzlies, or Trail Blazers.

I think we could beat nuggets and maybe the grizzlies. We seem to play with a lot of energy and determination at home and the nuggets aren't as good on the road as they are at home. Their HCA is a huge factor why they blew us out so I think this will be a totally different game from last time. Against the Grizzlies it might be a competitive game since we might thrive of our recent success, but I'm scared of what Rudy gay can do to us. I'm scared against the blazers as well..their home court just drives our team crazy. They lock us out and make us shoot what seems like less than 20%. Plus it seems like Gerald Wallace is still butt-hurt he is no longer on the kings, and just like Sammy every time plays with Extra effort, which pisses me off.

It might look something like this:
96-91 @ memphis
90-92 @ portland
101-93 vs denver

Wallace plays well because he's a good player, not because of something that happened 7 years ago.

Dalembert plays well because the Kings are soft up front on defense or don't play good team defense.

I forgot the Denver game is at home. The big problem is that this team makes so many mistakes, home or road.

Portland and Memphis are bad matchups because they know who they are. They're not going to take a lot of 3's or long twos like the Spurs, Pacers, or Bucks. They'll score in the paint, which the Kings don't defend. It has less to do with revenge or home court and more to do with how soft the Kings defense is.

Well im late on all this but I woulda predicted prob 2 wins. We should be way better than how we are playing this season or atleast I hoped so. This team is straight pathetic. Yes I said it! Im one of the biggest Kingns fan in Sac and even have a tattoo to prove it and we are garbage! Do u know our closes loss was 7 points? Other than that we are losing each game by 20. Thats sad and just frustrating to see. The way we are losing each game too doesnt help us with an arena at all. We sold out like our 1st 3 games now look at our crowd next time u watch a game. I also think its stupid that we didnt start Thompson earlier then in the SacBee we bash on him saying hes not in our long hall plans when hes been our most consistent player. This team is a mess and it goes down the line of our orgANIZATION. Owners,Petrie,Coach,Players. Why are we sitting on alot of SF`s and not getting anything out of them? Salmons = joke, Garcia, why we giving him minutes? Greene, just cut him already I dont see the potential of him being great at all. Brign honeycut back up n see wat he has instead of giving minutes to Greene. Hell send Greene to the D league. It sucks to see a person get a nice deal and then not be able to shoot the ball decent( cough, cough, Thorton) Then it sucks to draft a lights out shooter in college, who cant play at a NBA level, except for the other night. This team needs help and im just not sure who can help us but at this rate we dont play as a team, dont look like a team that can push for a 8th spot let alone compete against good teams on a nightly basis. So if all that is going on dont u look for other options that can help u fix those problems? I dont believe in Petrie no more so kinda scared if we do a trade mid season cause seems we get screwed over when he does lately but something needs to happen. Wat about snagging Pierce from Boston? I guess im just a frustrated fan trying to find a ray of hope but seems this season is already loss and ownership isnt looking to fix things which means theer gone next yr.
