A friend passed along that on November 1st, the day that was supposed to be Opening Day, writers, bloggers, and fans are going to have a Day Of Silence about the NBA.
From The Basketball Jones's Tas Melas said, on Twitter:
"What I'd like most during this NBA lockout is a day of silence: no writings, no tweets, no media regarding the NBA at all."
Because, (from another person -- the friend): "we fans, who have been by and large ignored throughout the bloody ordeal, making our own show of solidarity by speaking louder than words through silence. . . . . Their biggest threat, fear, is apathy, irrelevance."
